I’m 6′ 195lbs. 36″ waist (at hips / lg. gut) 46â chest. The Lg. Carhartt J140 fits pretty good, though I actually wish the waistband was smaller so I’m thinking it should fit a 40″ waist. Good luck.

I bought this to wear to a football game this past Sunday where it was calling for wind chills in the 20s. I can say this did the job perfectly. We were outside for 5~ hours and my upper body was never cold. I will continue to use it as a regular/daily wear during the winter. I do not work in a trade/outside field so I can’t comment on how it may hold up there but it’s Carhartt and I hear it’s good quality. Definitely feels like good quality. Highly recommended.
